Online counseling can be a great avenue to help you get the support you need in certain circumstances. Whether you’re interested in doing online counseling for all of your sessions or are wanting to do a combination of in-person and online counseling, I can help.
For online counseling, I use a HIPAA-compliant video service called Zoom, which works just like Skype and FaceTime. In addition to video sessions, you also have the option of doing phone sessions with me if that’s what you prefer.
Benefits of Online Counseling
Maybe you live far from my office in Houston, TX and would like the option of doing video sessions from home to save time and eliminate the commute. Maybe you’re in a season of transition and know you’re going to be moving soon (e.g. for college), but you want to start working with a therapist now and continue having that support whenever you move.
Regardless of what your situation may be, online counseling can help you:
- Save time by not having to commute to/from my office
- Fit therapy more easily into your week (e.g. doing a session from your office, car, etc.)
- Have more consistent sessions and experience faster progress as a result
- Have flexibility when issues come up that would prevent you from coming into the office
- Not have to start over with a new counselor if you move or travel between cities
Online counseling gives you the same benefits as in-person counseling, but with the added convenience of doing sessions from whatever location works best for you.
Ready to get Started?
Before we start doing video sessions, I’ll want to meet with you at least once in person to ensure that online counseling would be the best fit for your needs. From there, all you’ll need to do is download an app and you’ll be all set to start doing video sessions with me.
So, what are you waiting for? Getting started is simple: Call me at 281-785-2273 or email me at email@example.com to learn more or to schedule an appointment with me. I look forward to helping you embark on this new journey!
WHY START COUNSELING NOW?
Get Relief Soon
The sooner you start therapy, the sooner you’ll get relief. Getting started is often the hardest part, but as soon as you come in for the first session, you’ll start to feel like a weight has been lifted off your shoulders.
Start Prioritizing Self-Care
Your time, energy, and money will always be limited resources. At the end of the day, you have to decide to invest in what’s most important to you. You can’t pour from an empty cup, so there’s no better time than now to start making your well-being a priority so that you can be the very best version of yourself.
